The Enterprise Support Department manages the financial and business aspects of running our business as well as human resources, training and development, information technology, performance management and, the health and safety of our employees.
The Chief Engineers Department (CED) provides specialized support to NASA project chief engineers, the development of workforce capabilities internal to Jacobs, and analytical tools and data to manage our task orders. CED leads the Technology, Innovation and Process Improvement program to advance innovation, accelerate collaboration, and encourage communication of technical achievements across the contract.
The Space Systems Department designs, develops, assembles, integrates, tests and delivers flight, ground, prototype, and development products for human space flight programs, science investigations, and exploration initiative
The Spacecraft & Vehicles Support Department plans, performs and directs the technical design, analysis, test, evaluation, verification, integration and applied research and development of Spacecraft and Launch Vehicle Systems
The Materials and Process Department supports the M&P Lab at NASA MSFC by providing science, technology, and engineering support in materials, processes and manufacturing related tasks for space vehicle applications.
The Test Design and Operations Department provides engineering expertise to support MSFC’s Test Labs and functions as Test Engineers, Lead Systems Engineers, and Special Hardware Designers for a variety of test support: propulsion, structural, and environmental.
The Propulsion and Systems Support Department's vision is to imagine, develop and advance propulsion to make exploration a reality. We enable human exploration and habitation beyond lower earth orbit (LEO) by providing propulsion products, expertise, and solutions for our customers, fostering technical advancements and innovation to enable missions.
The Programs & Projects and Advanced Concepts Support Department provides technical support for the Space Launch System Program Office, Human Landing System Program Office, Human Exploration Development & Operations Office, the Science and Technology Office, Center Operations, ACO, and multiple other NASA flagship efforts.
Jacobs Space Exploration Group (JSEG) team is comprised of Jacobs plus the nine Teammate companies listed below and is located at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL (ranked #1 in Best Places to Live by U.S. News). Our Teammates are an integral part of the JSEG team and provide engineering and technical support across the entire scope of the contract, including research and development, systems engineering, test and analysis.
